Publish your website widget: a second free path to new enquiries

Hi, I'm Max. The widget puts meiti chat on your website. Once your own WhatsApp number is reachable, visitors also get a Continue on WhatsApp option.

Prepare it in meiti

1. Open Settings → Inbox → Online enquiries → Your website.
2. If shown, tap Create widget first. Then choose the assistant that should handle website enquiries.
3. Match the theme, label, call button and accent colour to your website.
4. Optional: add your root domain as an allowed domain. It also covers www and other subdomains.
5. Check chat and the WhatsApp button in the preview, then copy the embed code.

Publish on your site

1. Paste the code once into the global site area directly before the closing </body> tag. Site builders often call this Custom Code, Tracking Code or Footer Code.
2. Publish the site and clear its cache if necessary.
3. Test on desktop and mobile: does chat open, can you send a message, and does the WhatsApp handoff appear?
